My name is Kathryn Markloff, and I am a lifelong learner, educator, instructional coach, business owner, and proud mother of two. I live in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where I work as a K–12 instructional coach for the Curriculum and Instruction Department. In this role, I support teachers, collaborate with colleagues, and help strengthen instructional practices across grade levels and content areas.
My professional background reflects my passion for education, innovation, and student-centered learning. In addition to my work in public education, I own a STEM company and serve on the board of a local professional learning company. These roles allow me to support educators and students beyond the classroom while continuing to promote meaningful learning experiences in math, science, and technology.
Education has always been an important part of my journey. I hold two master’s degrees and am currently working toward my doctorate. My professional goals include helping shape math and science education within my district and, in the future, possibly working with teacher candidates at the collegiate level after retirement.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my children, reading, working out, relaxing with my dogs, and enjoying something sweet whenever I can. My family, my work, and my love of learning continue to inspire me both personally and professionally. Whether I’m coaching teachers, working with students through STEM programs, or pursuing my own studies, I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. I believe education should inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of lifelong learning.
The purpose of this blog is to share reflections, ideas, and resources related to curriculum, instruction, technology integration, and blended learning. Through this space, I hope to connect with other educators, reflect on my own learning, and contribute to conversations that support meaningful and engaging instruction for all learners.
